We’ve all had those days when our makeup isn’t right or our air is out of place. Thankfully, there are a lot of beauty hacks you can try that’ll help you save time and money. A single hack can make a BIG difference with helping you look your best.
So without further ado, here are clever and easy beauty hacks every girl should know.
Remove blackheads with epsom salt
You can buy epsom salt anywhere. From feeding plants to relaxing muscles, epsom salt has a lot of uses. Today, we’re going to add one more to that list. You can use epsom salt to remove blackheads.
Mix a cup of boiling water with one teaspoon of epsom salt. Then, add 3 drops o iodine. Mix and let it cool until it reaches the right temperature that’s to your liking.
Soak a cotton ball and dab it on your blackhead. This will help loosen your blackhead so it’s easier to squeeze out using a gauze pad.

Have shinier hair with apple cider
Want to have shiny hair? Try this beauty hack
Once in a week, rinse your hair with apple cider. Before getting out of the shower, pour apple cider vinegar on your hair. Take care so it doesn’t go to your eyes.
For a few minutes, use your fingers to work it through and rinse. When your hair dries, you won’t smell any vinegar. You’ll only be left with softer and shinier hair.
The vinegar’s acidity neutralizes your hair’s pH balance, as well as shut down the cuticle. Thus, making your hair strand smooth.
Create easy beach waves
Want beach waves? Here’s an easy way to create one.
First, twist your hair tightly. Then, heat your hair up with blow dryer.
Dry your nail polish faster with ice
One of the things I hate about painting my nails is waiting for it to dry. That is, until I found this clever beauty hack.
Fill a bowl with water and ice. Then, soak your nails for a few minutes. The cold water will help set the paint and dry your nails faster.
Use shaving cream to fix foundation stains
Did you accidentally smudge your makeup on your collar? Use shaving cream to pretreat it. Simply wipe a dollop of shaving cream on the stain and toss it in the wash.
Cure eye puffiness with green tea bags
Before you throw your tea bags in the trash, use them first to cure puffiness. Do this by placing cool green tea bags on your skin for at least 5 minutes. This will de-puff and tighten your under eyes.
The caffeine from the green tea will help your skin recover fast and tighten.
Create fake false eyelashes with baby powder
Is putting on false eyelashes too time consuming for you? Why not use something easier?
After curling your eyelashes, apply your mascara. Then, dip a clean mascara wand (cotton swab will do if you have no mascara wand) into some baby powder. Sweep this on the underside of your lashes and apply a second coat of mascara.
Your lashes will look fuller and longer as the mascara clings to the baby powder which creates dark fibers on your eyelashes.
Tame your eyebrows with vaseline
Do you have curled and “disobedient” eyebrows? Tame your eyebrows with a small amount of Vaseline. Then brush with a brow brush to shape your eyebrows.
Create long lasting waves with braids
There’s no need to spend money to create long lasting waves. Simply use hair straightener and some braids.
To start, braid your hair and press your hair straightener over them. Then, spread the braids and tada you’ve got long-lasting waves!
