Soften the sheets with vinegar

Yes. You read that right! Vinegar.

How?

Get a half cup of distilled white vinegar and run one cycle with your sheets. This will make your bed sheets softer, and brighter. Plus, any lingering odors will be removed. Pretty cool hack, huh?

Keep socks paired in a mesh laundry bag

Don’t you just hate it when your socks get orphaned? Laundry does that. It separates a pair and you’re left with just one piece of sock without the other.

This laundry hack is here to solve that problem! Using a mesh laundry bag, folding and pairing socks will be a breeze!

Use chalk to get out grease stains

Stop worrying about those grease stains! Use a chalk to get rid of them.

Before you toss your cloth in the wash, rub a little chalk into the stain. This will soak up the grease, including bacon and lipstick stains!

Use aluminum foil if you’re out of dryer sheets

So you’re out of dryer sheets. Before you panic, look to your kitchen cabinets and get some aluminum foil.

Bundle this up and use it as a dryer sheet. The best part is that you won’t need a new for six months! It lasts that long. How awesome is that?

Say goodbye to wrinkles with ice cubes

Nope. You won’t be wasting any more time on using iron or any handheld steamer. This laundry hack is sure to remove the wrinkles from your clothes.

Throw several ice cubes in the dryer with your wrinkled clothes. When the ice melts and turns into steam, it will remove any wrinkles.

Do note, however, that this only works on lighter fabrics.

Unshrink clothing with baby shampoo

You can now stop crying over accidentally shrinking your favorite sweater when you put in the dryer. Now, you can unshrink your clothes with baby shampoo!

Fill your sink with lukewarm water and then add a capful of baby shampoo (regular conditioner works too!). For clothes made from wool, you’ll need to add a bit more baby shampoo. Let it soak for around 10 minutes. Then, drain the sink.

Squeeze your clothes to remove any excess water and put it on top of a towel. Let the towel absorb more water by rolling it up.

While your clothes are damp, gently stretch it and lay it flat to dry. Tadaa! You now have your clothes back in the right size.

Speed up the drying process with a towel

Don’t have the patience of waiting for your clothes to dry? You can speed up the machine-dry process by throwing in a clean, dry towel. It will help dry your clothes faster.
